Overview:

Given a Moj user’s feed has many components including ads, live streaming, post lifecycle related aspects, We are looking for experienced product leaders to join us to work on business problems that require balancing multiple objectives. For instance, when to show ads, how many ads to show, when and how much to focus on exploration of posts and user interest.

The ideal candidate –

 

  • Will have experience in working with data scientists and engineers to build state of the art AI/ML systems
  • Be excited to understand the goals of various business units and working towards building systems that enable a positive outcome for multiple orthogonal objectives
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and able to take ownership to build 0-1 systems that have large scale real world impact.

 

Skills/Experiences:

 

Core Needs

 

  • You have a user and data-focused mentality.Ability to convert problems or goals into metrics to be measured
  • Ability to identify metrics to be tracked for systems that are in place or being built
  • Ability to manage complex analysis especially when a metric has multiple drivers
  • You're a fantastic communicator and can work cross-functionally with business stakeholders.Someone in this role is expected to empathize with goals of various internal teams to ensure the right trade-offs are made. (You bring passion and playfulness to your work and those around you)
  • You are hungry to learn and evolve in all things. From leadership skills, data analysis to product craft to process to industry and market trends — you never stop pushing into the next big challenge.

Good to have -

  • You have experience in managing or working in a feed driven product
  • Ability to convert trade-off in product decisions to business metrics/value
  • You have at least 2+ years of experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methods
  • You have a background in User Research or Data Science with practical chops you don't mind dusting off from time-to-time.
  • You understand the role and importance of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and when to deploy them.
