Job Overview:
As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will help scale the financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities and empower decision makers across our different businesses and functions. You will play a key role in all aspects of financial reporting and make significant contributions to high-profile strategic and operational initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the link between finance and business orgs
  • Joint responsibility of business line P&L along with business leaders
  • Work with business teams to define, measure and drive improvement in operating as well as financial  metrics
  • Take lead in monthly, quarterly and annual planning and ensure adherence to plans
  • Drive ROI narrative in key business decisions, identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and lead execution thereof
  • Lead measurement, forecasting and reporting of key business drivers
  • Assess and evaluate financial performance and provide insights and recommendations
  • Provide periodic updates / flash to management on the actual and rolling forecast for the month.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, increase efficiency and drive data-based decision making|
  • Acts as a one source of truth for numbers - Key financial metrics and performance drivers

Who you are:

  • Engineering/MBA/ CA degree from reputed institute with 3+ years of work experience in Business    Finance/Strategy roles (preferably in transactions heavy businesses)
  • Prior experience with media industry as preferred
  • Strong communication, analytical, collaboration/ team-player and inter-personal skills
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented with business sense
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic,    ever-growing and often ambiguous environment
  • Must be Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Ability to work in unstructured environment and on ambiguous problem statements
